The music of Mirlo Duo draws on a wide range of musical influences and inspirations, including jazz, samba, milonga, and other South American sounds. John Merrill's long history in jazz combines with Denise Milstein's Latin American roots into a repertoire that also includes original songs. Their sound builds on their two guitars, voices, and percussion.
