About the event

Chef Pete Cervoni is a 40-year veteran of the foodservice industry and a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. After his paradigmatic shift to become Vegan over 27 years ago, he became a pioneer in the realm of plant-based, health-supportive cuisine. Over the years,  Pete has worked at the helm of many of NYC’s Vegan restaurants such as Angelica Kitchen, Quintessence, Organic Avenue and The Organic Grill. Pete has spent the last 7 years in the CPG space supporting the culinary programs of companies like Abbot’s Butcher, Numu, Alpha Foods, Good Catch and Wicked Kitchen, the latter two of which he was the Corporate Chef.

Chef Anthony Spino grew up in the Midwest and learned to cook at his family's traditional, and now landmark, Italian restaurant “Anthony’s”  in Kansas City, Missouri. “Anthony’s Eastside” is a catering business Anthony and his wife opened in New York serving veganized versions of his family’s famous dishes. Currently Chef Anthony works with “Wellness in the Schools” partnering with The Mayor’s office and the New York Public Schools, whose goal is to bring healthy and plant forward dishes to the kids.
