Alexa Lash is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Miami, Florida. Her sound is a unique mix of pop, rock, soul and spoken word influences that harkens back to women-led bands of the 90s, but with a vibe and energy all her own.
She has a powerhouse voice and highly relatable lyrics. Her voice is reminiscent of Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, and Florence Welch. Her full band is known as Alexa & the Old-Fashioneds.
Her album, Heartbreak in Movements (March 17, 2023) has been featured on WLRN’s Folk & Acoustic music hour with Michael Stock, and national podcast, The Tony Kornheiser Show.
She just released her newest single, F**k that Noise, on March 1, 2024.
